Pimpinio to hold 2005 premiership reunion
Pimpinio Football Netball Club will celebrate their 2005 senior football premiership-winning side this Saturday.
The club will commemorate its first senior Horsham District Football Netball League title, as coaches, players and supporters from the victorious side reunite at Pimpinio Recreation Reserve for the occasion.
The reunion goes in conjunction with Pimpinio's round 14 matchup against Laharum.
Leah Healy, Pimpinio's secretary, says it is a great opportunity to reflect on one of the club's greatest achievements.
"It's a great chance to reflect on some really good, positive memories, the years gone by, and catch up with people who we haven't seen for a little while," Healy said.
"It will be great to celebrate the success that was."
As part of the day the senior football team will wear commemorative jerseys, each player donning a number worn by the 2005 team.
The celebration will commence at midday, with the current senior team to make an address before their game.
A jumper auction, dinner and live music will take place after the game, with current and former players, supporters and interested people welcome to attend.
