Pink Day raises above $550
The Hopetoun Golf Club Pink Day was a fantastic success on May 11, raising both awareness and funds for breast cancer research.
Together, an incredible $574.50 was raised thanks to the generosity and support of the local community.
Donations continued to come in throughout the day, underscoring the strong support for such an important cause.
The weather was absolutely perfect, creating great conditions on the course, with plenty of running and laughs throughout the day.
Nearest to the pins were Shirley Treble on the 15th and Karen Smith on the 17th.
The Longest Drives were Marianne Ferguson (4th) and Marianne Ferguson (10th).
The Golfers Putting Competition was won by Shirley Treble, while the Non Golfers Putting Competition winners were Lindy from Achmea Insurance and Nicole McLean.
The major sponsors for the day included Acmea Insurance and Drummond Golf Mildura, and the organisers thanked them for their support of the great cause.
