Planting at Kiata oval
On Sunday, July 27, the Dimboola and District Gardening Club supported a planting on the Kiata oval of sweet Bursaria plants that were grown by Linda Domaschenz, a Kiata local who tragically passed away on the highway in April 2025.
The Dimboola Gardening Club helped honour Linda Domaschenz's passion for conservation at a special event in Kiata.
She was a passionate conservationist and grew these plants to support the endangered copper butterfly population in Kiata.
The next monthly meeting for the Dimboola and District Gardening Club will be on Sunday, August 3, at 2pm inside the library.
