Police investigating St Helens Plains motorcycle incident

A motorcyclist has died following a crash in St Helens Plains.

A Victoria Police spokesperson said emergency services were called to Horsham-Lubeck Road after a passerby discovered a crashed bike on Friday, September 4, at about 2.15pm.

“A search of the area located the rider at the bottom of a steep embankment, partially submerged in water,” they said.

“Sadly, the man, believed to be in his 40s, from the Horsham area, died at the scene.”

Horsham Highway Patrol are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision and will prepare a report for the Coroner.
