Potato harvest another success
Wheatlands Agricultural Machinery Museum have had another successful harvest on their hands after members and volunteers spent their morning in the potato field just behind the museum.

Many members and volunteers donated their time last Saturday for Wheatland's Agricultural Machinery Museum's recent potato harvest.
An American-made 1910 Champion Potato Digger was used to dig up the vegetables with many following behind, picking up the potatoes by hand and placing them in bags and buckets.
Participants were finished by lunchtime with society members treated to a barbecue lunch.
Secretary Lesley Stephan said there were more potatoes than last year which has resulted in over 1 tonne being harvested.
"Some were sold and some were put aside to use at this year's Easter rally," she said.
