Gathering to celebrate recent achievements, the Management and Programming Committees of the Hopetoun Power House came together to celebrate recent achievements.
Since the 2022 opening of the transformed Powerhouse into the Powerhouse Arts Studio and accommodation, the offerings available to the community have steadily grown.
A valuable resource in the community, with accommodation and an arts space, the venue has hosted a variety of workshops, a Maker’s Market, a Social Studio, and a photo book session this year, and is looking forward to the September Art Exhibition, which will be held during the school holidays.
Recent achievements celebrated by the Committees include a revamped website, a more streamlined, easy-to-use online booking service for the accommodation and Arts Studio.
In addition to artistic endeavours, the Arts Studio space is available to the public for other events.

Another recent achievement is the successful grant application to Regional Arts Victoria to host a cultural event in 2027.
This is a work in progress and will be an opportunity for the local community to have an event come to us rather than having to travel.
The committee welcomes applications from artists for short- or long-term residencies.
