Brenda Naylor organised a wonderful day trip to Dimboola held on October 1.

We stopped in Jeparit for morning tea at the local park, which is well set up with political history and being the town where Sir Robert Menzies was born.

Ten kilometres north of Dimboola on the Dimboola-Rainbow Road lies the stunning silo art featuring Arkona local, Roley Klinge.

It also highlights the importance of country tennis to these small communities.

In Dimboola, we had a tour of the historical courthouse Museum, lunch at the local hotel, and then Brenda and Tony’s daughter, Louise, guided us around Dimboola’s sights.
