Taylors Lake are currently seventh on the league ladder, while Edenhope are in fifth place with four wins and two losses.

Having started their season with two wins, Taylors Lake suffered four straight losses before defeating Natimuk United 45-37 in their most recent game.

Sharon Fedke, Taylors Lake's coach, said she hoped to use the momentum from last week’s result in the game against Edenhope Apsley.

“It was a really good confidence booster,” Fedke said.

“We never take any game lightly.

"We know that every team that you come up against is strong and you can't you can't be complacent about anything.”

Fedke is conscious of an Edenhope side that will be fresh ahead of Saturday.

“Edenhope absolutely have been a strong team for a number of years and they have some quality players in there,” Fedke said.

“For us, it's about trying to stick to our game plan, and if we can do that then we feel like we can go a long way to being competitive in the game.”

Amidst the mixed results of the season, Fedke said the focus for Taylors Lake was on improvement.

“We've made some great improvement but we've obviously still got a long way to go,” Fedke said.

“I've been really pleased with the team and the girls, the things that they have taken on board and how we're progressing.”

In other round eight games, Noradjuha Quantong compete against Harrow Balmoral, second-placed Rupanyup host fourth-placed Kalkee, Kaniva Leeor go up against Pimpinio, and Natimuk United compete against ladder leaders Laharum.

Swifts have a bye.
