Property fire
Two Warracknabeal Fire Brigade units responded to a large black plume of smoke at a property on the corner of Government Road and Darling Street, on the east side of Warracknabeal, at 6.14pm on Thursday, April 24.

The fire is believed to have been started by someone using a tractor to pull-start a car on a dam bank behind the house.
Crews arrived to find grass and a dam full of rubbish alight.
The fire then spread to a caravan parked at the rear of the house.
