Grade 6 students from Horsham schools put their problem-solving skills to the test at the Maths Olympics at Horsham College on Wednesday, May 20.

The program began with students arriving at Horsham College before the first session, Puzzles and Problem Solving, started at 9.45am.
After a short break, students competed in Maths Combat Games, then had lunch, followed by the final challenge, the Maths Relay.
Teams collected points throughout the day before organisers tallied the scores and announced the winners during presentations.
Horsham West and Haven Primary School - Team 1 won Round 1, while Horsham Primary School took out Round 2.
Horsham West and Haven Primary School - Team 4 won Round 3 and finished the day as the overall winner.
The event gave students a chance to work together, think quickly and enjoy maths outside the classroom.
