Push for safer school precinct
PEDESTRIAN safety concerns and traffic congestion around Warracknabeal’s education precinct have prompted calls for changes to Campbell Street. The Yarriambiack Shire Council is considering making the section of Campbell Street between King and Lyle streets one-way as part of broader efforts to enhance traffic flow and safety around the education precinct.

Warracknabeal Secondary College principal Casey Phelan (left), Special Developmental School principal John Grieve, and St Mary's Catholic Primary School principal Julie Leonard are among those calling for changes to improve traffic flow and pedestrian safety around the town's education precinct.
