Rain dampens O'Callaghans Parade roadworks
The Horsham Rural City Council has announced that the O'Callaghans Parade roadworks project has been delayed by recent rainfall, leaving the outbound lane closed to traffic.

The Horsham Rural City Council has announced that the O'Callaghans Parade roadworks project has been delayed by recent rainfall, leaving the outbound lane closed to traffic.
"The north side (outbound lane) will remain closed until further notice, as recent rainfall has left the gravel surface too soft for traffic," an HRCC spokesperson said.
"Sealing works have been delayed due to wet weather, and a new date will be confirmed once the forecast rain this weekend has passed.
"Depending on rainfall levels, the inbound lane may need to be temporarily closed again to protect the road surface and ensure safety."
The south side (inbound lane to Horsham) of O'Callaghans Parade reopened to traffic on Thursday, October 8.
"We appreciate the community's patience while these works are completed and will provide further updates as conditions change," the spokesperson said.
