After enjoying a lovely casserole dinner, Adalyn Clugston and Jasper Bigham both spoke of their experiences while at the jamboree.

They spoke of their favorite activities and the logistics to cater and entertain 10,000 Scouts and leaders, 250 busloads of kids to deal with, tonnes of baked beans and cornflakes and thousands of litres of milk, just to name a few.

Rainbow Lions Club helped sponsor these two Scouts and their three local leaders, who are indebted to the town, for an experience of a lifetime.

Also on that night the meeting had a visit from the district governor of Lions Victoria, Des Jones and his wife Sue.

Des is a former resident of Rainbow, where he worked in the National Australia Bank.

Des handed out some badges recognising years of service to members of the Lions Club in Rainbow.
