Rebate deadline today, July 31
Motorists across the Wimmera have been given more time to claim the state's 20 per cent registration rebate, with the application deadline extended to August 31.

The rebate has already attracted over 3.5 million applications, with the Victorian Government describing it as targeted cost-of-living relief for households.
Eligible motorists can receive: Up to $186 back for one registered vehicle or up to $372 back for two registered vehicles.
The rebate is available whether registration is paid annually or by instalments.
Applications close August 31.
Eligible motorists can claim the rebate for up to two vehicles registered in their name.
Minister for Roads and Road Safety Ros Spence said the rebate would continue to provide relief for families facing cost-of-living pressures.
“This is real money back in Victorians’ pockets - where, right now, every dollar makes a difference,” she said.
Applications can be made through the Service Victoria app or online.
