Last week we only had 13 junior badminton players due to the children in grades 3 and 4 being away on a school camp.
This meant we were able to let all the player play four doubles sets to 21 points and also the singles set 21 points.
Our parent helper was the Saul family, with Fred coming and being an enormous help with showing the players where they should stand, serving, how to hit the shuttle properly and the rules.
Thanks, Fred.
If any family didn’t receive their roster sheet please let me know.
We only have this week and then there are the school holidays so there won’t be regular junior for those two weeks.
However, Hindmarsh Shire has a number of school activities during the holidays and one of them is badminton.
I will be there to help with out racquets and shuttles, plus I will have our chocolates, chips and drinks.
Badminton on Wednesday July 16 will be at The Mecca Rainbow for primary-school age from 10am to 11am and for secondary-school age from 11.30am to 12.30pm.
