Having been an ongoing project for many years, RNH was able to secure funding to engage Mallee Landscapes to enhance the area's beauty.

Welcoming all to the opening, RNH CEO Jenni Masters said it was lovely to see the area come to fruition.

Given the honour of cutting the ribbon opening one of the atriums, resident Frank White made everyone chuckle with his exclamation, "I always wanted to be famous".

Later that day, residents enjoyed music from Peter Miller and an afternoon tea, which included a cake made by Environmental Services Assistant Leonie Naylor, the crowd marvelled at the newly installed paving, native plants and lighting, which will give the residents a beautiful, luscious scene to look at each time they exit their rooms, and which will also be themed for annual events like Christmas.
