REZ map sparks debate: drawing the lines on energy zones
FOLLOWING the declaration of five onshore renewable energy zones and one ‘shoreline’ REZ, local voices have highlighted a degree of fluidity and uncertainty, with the boundaries of these zones as a major ongoing concern.
The Western Renewables Energy zone has two sections – an eastern section located between Stawell and Donald, and a western section located north of Horsham, between Dooen and Hopetoun.
