Across many parts of Australia, farmers continue to face a combination of seasonal challenges, rising operating costs and business uncertainty.

In these circumstances, understanding available support and planning early can make a real difference.

RIC chief executive officer John Howard said face-to-face events such as Sheepvention provide an important opportunity for producers to talk through their individual circumstances and learn about the options available to them.

“Many producers across Australia continue to navigate challenging conditions, so it’s important to understand what concessional loans may be available and consider them early,” Mr Howard said.

RIC Agri Lending Specialists will be available throughout the event to discuss the range of low interest loans available to eligible farm businesses, including the Drought Loan, Drought Hardship Loan, Farm Investment Loan and AgriStarter Loan.

These loans can help improve cash flow, manage debt, recover from significant disruptions, and support succession planning.

“RIC loans keep viable farmers farming.

"Whether you’re seeking to recover from financial disruption out of your control or seeking to fund succession arrangements, we encourage you to stop by the RIC stand and talk to our team about what options may be available,” he said.

“My message to anyone attending Sheepvention is simple: come and have a conversation.

"There’s real value in understanding your eligibility and the options available to you early, because it can make all the difference when planning for the future of your farm business."

Visitors can find the RIC team in the Innovations Hub & Producers’ Market.
