The Horsham-Kalkee Road is one of the biggest projects.

Repairs will be conducted on the streches between Ladlows Road and Wail-Dooen Road, and between Dimboola-Minyip and Old Minyip Road.

The Western Highway will be the focus of attention near the Mallee Dam Road intersection at Nhill and at the Nea Nhill-Harrow Road. The Warracknabeal-Birchip Road between Sexton Road and Naughton Road, Morton Plains, is also due for a touch-up.

Victorian Roads Minister Melissa Horne said the regional maintenance program would be delivered during the upcoming warmer and drier months.

The regional repair bill of $675m is part of a broader almost $1 billion statewide package which Ms Horne described as “the biggest single-year investment in road maintenance in Victoria’s history“.

“Crews will be out delivering $2.6 million of works every day for a year - with around 70 per cent of all funding going towards our regional roads,“ she said.
