The Panthers pounced on their first win last week against the Tigers whilst Kalkee is looking to get back on the winner's list following a loss to Laharum.

Both teams are widely tipped to be contending this year and a close match is expected with Zanaiya Bergen and Jenna Bywaters scoring well. The game will be won in defence.

Panthers coach Jedda Heard said they need to work on staying calm.

"This is going to be a tough match. When we were under pressure last week we didn't get things going and panicked a bit," Heard said.

"When the first option doesn't work we need to remember there is a second and third so we need to remain calm."

Noradjuha Quantong will be looking to go 3-0 when they host Natimuk in the Arapiles Cup.

Shannon Couch leads the way for the Bombers this season with 96 goals from two games and on current form is a headache to any opposition team's coaches so Danielle Hanson will be looking at having a plan to stop her from having an impact.

Bombers coach Fiona Rowe said it's a big occasion.

"It's a special day to be able to play for that cup and we will be coming out firing as we expect them to as well," Rowe said.

"The girls have connected well throughout the last two weeks. We have had some good combinations and the rolling subs have been working well.

"Everything is on the line this weekend on this special day and we need to be at our best to come away with the four points.

Laharum will be looking to continue their winning ways when they face Kaniva Leeor.

The Demons have scored 128 goals through their two games whilst the Cougars have put on 96 and sit on one win, which is a great result considering they are back in A Grade.

Harrow Balmoral returns from the bye and will look to get their first win against the Saints.

The new-look Southern Roos under Emily Langley looked good in round one and will fancy their chances against the reigning premiers who are sitting on one win.

Langley said they were a bit bruised following their round one loss to the Bombers and they just needed to reset and regroup.

"We trained as usual and had a bit of a rest to reset and we are working on coming together as a team. We have been working on our connections between the mid court and attack line," Langley said.

"Unfortunately Jorja Jones injured her ankle in round one and will miss a few weeks so we will look at some of our development players and B Graders and see who can come in.

"We were impressed with how we hit the Bombers and Edenhope also had a solid hitout against them so I will be reviewing the video and we will hit the ground running and will give it a red hot crack again."

Taylors Lake and Swifts take on each other and both have a win-a-piece to start the season and a close match is anticipated.

Kayla Kelm is in some terrific form in the centre for the Lakers and provides a lot of drive and is one that the Baggies need to look at closely.

Lakers coach Lydia Schneider said they have had a fun week at training and expect a close match.

"I am interested to see how it goes for both the A and B squads. I think it will be a close intense match," Schneider said.

"Due to Anzac Day, we had a joint training session with the footballers which was fun and everyone is looking forward to seeing what we can do."
