Salvation Army's commanding officer captain Chris Sutton said the event went "quite well".

"It was the first one we've had since the beginning of Covid," he said.

"We had a good turn out and everyone was very generous to us."

"This will help a lot of families in the region."

Captain Sutton said people donated gift cards and toys, alongside a few monetary donations, that went towards the organisations Christmas Appeal.

The motorcycles cruise began at Natimuk, opposite the hotel, and travelled to Horsham via Lower Norton Road, before finishing in the rear carpark at Horsham Plaza.

A barbecue also kept everyone well fed after the ride.

Captain Sutton expressed his thanks to the motorcycle club for organising the event.
