The September Rainbow Christian Fellowship once again had a great day as they gathered to share scarves and the stories behind them.

While small in number, the group was big on scarves and stories.

Dozens of scarves were displayed, each with its own story.

The scarves were from all sorts of places, with patterns, styles, fabric and colours all different.

There were scarves which held special memories; scarves that were remembered for how they were made, from whom they were given, or where they were worn.

Scarves that were surplus to their owners’ needs were made available to others to take or were donated to local Opportunity Shops for resale to support needy causes.

The next meeting, to be held Tuesday, October 20, at 2pm in the SMCP Church Hall, has the theme of “Laundry Products”, from now or yesterday.

Anyone interested is welcome to attend and share their experiences of washing days.

Refreshments and conversation will follow the afternoon.
