Schneider leads Nhill to victory
Nhill recorded a dominant win over the Horsham Demons on Saturday in their Wimmera Football Netball League football match.
Final scores were Nhill 17.19 121 to Horsham Demons 9.13 67, with Drew Schneider the leading goal scorer on the day, booting seven for the winners.
Archie Elliott, Matthew Long and Sam Potter all chipped in a couple of goals for the Demons.
The Demons held the lead at the end of the first quarter by a goal, and were behind only a point at half time, but Nhill finished strongly, adding 11 goals and 10 points to their score in the final half, to Horsham's three goals, five points.
Best on ground for the victors was Schneider, along with Lucas Dahlenburg, while the Demons were better led by Archie Elliott and Benjamin Janetzki.
Nhill are currently third on the ladder for the league, with a couple of wins and a bye, while the Demons haven't registered a win.
