Serviceton enjoys Sunday bowls for a change
The past weekend's bowls competition at Serviceton was held on Sunday October 12 rather than Saturday October 11 because of Kaniva Show and a former member’s 80th birthday.
Sunday's bowls winners at Serviceton were Jayne Miles (skip), Mark Shawcross, Bev Makin and Ian Tink.

On Sunday all skippers were ladies.
The winning team was Jayne Miles, Mark Shawcross, Bev Makin and Ian Tink with 74 points.
Round one of midweek pennant in the Wimmera Playing Area was played on Tuesday October 7, when the Serviceton team travelled to Dimboola.
Serviceton started the season well with a win with 49 shots to Dimboola's 38 shots.
On Saturday October 18 we will play for Caddyshack vouchers before a barbecue tea.
Players are asked to take along a salad to share; dessert will be supplied.
The Maddern Laird Rosebowl will be played for Sunday October 18 at Tintinara.
Serviceton's teams will play teams from Tintinara, Keith, Bordertown, Padthaway, Mundulla, Coonalpyn and Kaniva.
