Sides sharpen up as finals loom
With teams already decided as to who will compete in the final series this season in A grade netball for the Wimmera Football Netball League, the next four weeks are more of an opportunity for those still in the hunt for the premiership to hone their game plan and skills.

The Horsham sides – the Saints and the Demons – are currently first and second respectively.
While the Saints are on 52 points, having not dropped a game all season, the Demons are, along with Dimboola, on 36 points.
The Thunder and Ararat round out the five, both on 32 points.
This week eighth-placed Nhill will come up against Warrack, sixth, the Demons will face Stawell, seventh, and Ararat will play ninth-seeded Minyip Murtoa.
The only game to be contested between the first five is that of the Horsham Saints and Southern Mallee Thunder.
Last time the sides played each other, the Horsham Saints claimed the win by 14 goals.
In that game Abby Hallam and Holly Phillips led the way for the Horsham side and Codie Robins and Sydney Thorogood were best on court for the Thunder.
The game on Saturday will also exhibit a couple of arguably the best and certainly the highest-scoring goalies in the league: Saints' Jorja Close and the Thunder's Steph Thomson.
Clode has hardly missed the target this season, scoring 509 goals from 601 attempts, and leads the league in goal scoring, while Thomson has converted 382 from 529 attempts at goal and is in third.
