Speed zone extended in Kiata

Taking effect in late-July, the extended speed zone now begins from east of Kiata South Road and ends west of Reserve Road.

The Hindmarsh Shire Council announced the change on Facebook with many expressing their gratitude toward the change.

Shan Rose, a primary advocate for the extended zone, said she's glad her hard work has paid off.

"Countless emails and phone calls, and getting the community to back the move was all worth it," she commented.

Patto Paterson also commented, "That's a good move. Pulling out of Kiata South Road in a truck was always a bit tricky".
