The Wimmera Hospice Care Auxiliary celebrated new spring styles for a key cause at the Spring Fashion Parade fundraiser on Wednesday, October 7.

Secretary/treasurer Maureen Webb said the afternoon’s event was “Fantastic”, raising more than $600.

“The ticket sales are about on par (with other years), but the raffle was certainly a lot more; people were certainly a little more generous this year,” she said.

All proceeds from the event raised by the Wimmera Hospice Care Auxiliary go to support Wimmera Palliative Care.

“It goes towards palliative care with people palliating at home,” Mrs Webb said.

Five models paraded, showing off the latest range of women’s spring clothing from Maria Da Ross Fashions to a crowd of 110 ticketholders at the Horsham City Bowling Club.
