Kaye’s Kollection has a window of witness for those going past, where messages of hope are installed each month.

Initiated by the Southern Mallee Cooperative Parish, it has been showing displays for the last three years.

The current window is supported by the work of the Hopetoun P-12 College students involved in the Buddies Programme.

With International Day of Peace on September 24, students from Buddies, from Prep to Year 10, created a Peace mobile.

Each student was invited to think of ways they can grow peace in their lives.

Each Buddies Group was then encouraged to think about what they can do as a group of students, and then the whole group was invited to think about how small groups and organisations such as the school can work towards peace.

The mobile hung at school until the school holidays, and for October it is hanging in the window to inspire others to think about what each one of us can do to grow peace in our lives, families, communities and the wider world.
