Students raised funds for Dolly

Rainbow P-12 College celebrated Do It For Dolly Day on Friday, May 8, with the whole school coming together to dress in blue and support the cause.

The school’s VM:PDS class organised a range of activities for the day, including a raffle, netball games, mindfulness sessions and some speeches.

The school raised a grand total of $632.60.

Years 11 and 12 also played a friendly netball game against a team consisting of staff members.

The staff team dominated the match, winning 14-2.

The Rainbow Grab ’n’ Go opened in the morning and sold drinks, cupcakes and biscuits.

Students also enjoyed a taco lunch, blue heaven milkshakes and frogs in blue ponds.

The raffle prizes included were a $50 fuel voucher, a meat tray and Do It For Dolly merchandise.
