The community-led Walking School Bus went down King Street, stopping at six designated pick-up points.

It started from the Hospital Corner at 8.15am and arrived at school by 8.40am.

The stops included Lake Street, Eddy Street, the Post Office bus drop-off, and Bow Street, with dozens of students joining the group along the way.

School buses dropped students at the Post Office, giving them a chance to join the walk if they wished.

The event aimed to promote road safety, healthier travel choices, and the importance of regular physical activity for children.
