By making a gold coin donation, students were able to dress up in sports gear, Australian colours or the colours of other countries.

There were eight "events" for them to complete: rhythmic gymnastics, frisbee throwing, three-legged racing, flipper racing, breakdancing, basketball, javelin and an egg-and-spoon race.

Everyone was a winner as they all received a gold medal at the end.

Organised by the junior school council and school captains, the money raised will go towards improvements of the school.
