Strong wind across the ground made it a slog early, but the Swifts were able to wrestle out an 11-point lead at quarter-time.

In the second quarter, they started to get on top, extending the lead to 25 points at half-time.

They came out after half-time firing, scoring another three goals to one to lead by 38 points heading into the final quarter.

A five-goal quarter saw the Baggies win 14.10.94 to 4.3.27.

Paul Summers kicked six goals for the Baggies, bringing his total to 78 goals for the season. Josh Folkes and Tallis Miles were brilliant through the midfield with Kobe Lowe playing a significant role in the ruck with Brodie Kindred excellent down back.

For the Cougars, Sam Vivian, Billy King, Hamish Bennett, and Joel Wagg were among their best players.

Swifts coach Brett Hargreaves said Folkes got them going when things were tough early and was thrilled with Lowe's game in the ruck.

"Josh tried hard and put his hand up and said he would be the one to get us going, and it set the tone, and he played well," Hargreaves said.

"With Matt Healy and me out, Kobe did a super job for us in the ruck. He has been playing half-forward, and as a youngster, I am proud of his effort, especially against a good player like Hamish Bennett. He got his own football and won the ruck."
