One of the committee members of the club, Courtney Jones, said the club will spend the grant money on enhancing the facilities at the premises.

"A new kettle and microwave will be purchased alongside new storage shelves," she said.

"We are purchasing some new seating to ensure players and spectators will be more comfortable.

"Trolleys are being purchased to enhance coaching equipment, and a new first aid kit to support the safety of club and league members."

Ms Jones said the recent boost from the wind farm will help in the club's ongoing project.

"It will enable us to cater for a more diverse group of people while improving the safety and usability," she said.

"This project falls within our ongoing commitment to improve our club's atmosphere, inclusivity and usability.

"We aim to create a space that encourages people to participate and to feel welcome and comfortable.

"The project has already commenced and will continue to be ongoing.

The painting of the club rooms will also be done at the club, but with the money from other grants.

Ms Jones said the up-gradation of the facilities will impact a large number of people across the region.

"It's hard to put a number on it, but all members of the Dimboola and District Tennis Association will be positively impacted," she said.

"Especially our local club members, as well as other visitors to the town or facilities."

Ms Jones thanked MWWF for their support and encouraged everyone to join the club as a player or a supporter.

"We wish to thank MWWF for supporting our ongoing improvements and encourage anyone with an interest in tennis to consider joining as a social or playing member in our upcoming season.

"Players are always welcome, as are non-playing supporters."

"Training is once a week and community members are encouraged to come along and have a hit.

Ms Jones said that the juniors will also operate over summer with once-a-week group coaching sessions at the club.

Murra Warra Wind Farm has allocated more than $103,000 in community grants to not-for-profit and community groups across the Horsham, Yarriambiack and Hindmarsh Shires this year.

There were 17 different projects funded through this year's program, spanning across five categories: Education and Training, Sustainable Environment, Culture, Diversity and Arts, Sport and Recreation and Social, Health and Well-being.
