Tennis stars take on finals after heat forces final round cancelation
The Central Wimmera Tennis Association gears up for finals.

The Central Wimmera Tennis Association will launch into finals on Saturday, March 1, with St Michaels, Central Park, Horsham Lawn and Drung South set to contest the 2024-25 pennant title.
Minor premiers Horsham Lawn will host Central Park as the top two teams compete for a ticket straight to the grand final.
While the loser of that match takes on the winner of St Michaels' encounter with Drung South.
Each team will take to the first weekend of finals on fresh legs following the cancelation of the regular season's final round due to heat.
The afternoon of Saturday, February 22 saw temperatures hit as high as 39 degrees.
But, the Bureau of Meteorology is expecting a cooler afternoon for the CWTA's finalists, with highs of only 29 degrees predicted.
In the CWTA's A special, Horsham Lawn is set for a double dose of finals with the club's Thompson side taking on Central Park with a spot in the grand final on the line, and its Gillespie side hosting Natimuk in an eliminator.
In A grade, St Michaels takes on Haven while Central Park hosts Horsham Lawn McGennisken.
Drung South and Horsham Lawn Tigers play off in B Special, while Laharaum and Central Park also meet.
