Tense round 12 tennis clash for Hopetoun

It was a see-sawing day between Dimboola and Hopetoun when the sides faced off in round 12 of the Dimboola and District Tennis Association.

While Dimboola came home with the 3-2 win on the road, the clubs finished with six sets apiece and 81 games each.

Dimboola claimed the mixed pairs, winning 3-1 (30-26), before the home side claimed the men’s rubber 3-1 (29-23).

In the women’s contest, the sides won two sets each, with Dimboola edging ahead 28-26.
