Thanks to those who support me as a Chaplain and support the services.

It was great to celebrate Chaplaincy Week.

A highlight was having skipping ropes available during lunchtime and seeing one student’s delight when they learnt to skip.

Another highlight was being able to provide the school with something to eat; food always lifts a celebration.

As part of the wellbeing team, alongside Kelly and Tammy, we enjoyed making slime.

This is a useful tool when talking with students, and after three unsuccessful attempts by me a few weeks ago, Tammy kindly taught Kelly and me how to make it.

The school is blessed to have people with the skills that Tammy (Counselling) and Kelly bring.

Kelly does so much to help students get the best possible start and works across many areas of the school.

Making slime is a lesson in using the right materials, seeking good advice, being flexible and persevering - much like teaching and working in a school environment.

We managed to have fun too, and there were lots of laughs, another important ingredient for learning.
