The past fortnight has produced a mass of local winners through four meetings in 14 days, with local trainers saluting 18 times for the period.

The Hartigan team (Horsham) doubled up with Major Mike winning at consecutive meetings.
Friday he produced a near-mirror-image result just running down kennel mate Tommy’s Hitman, producing a kennel quinella in 23:54sec.
Michael Callanan continued his superb run of form, producing another three winners with kennel star Nyah Nyah Demon bookending the period with near-best-of-night victories of 23:35sec and 23:29sec respectively and it was then Fortunate Kiss continuing her good form striking again in 23:59sec.
Deadly Dave gave Lachie McGinniss (Warracknabeal) his first winner as an owner with the fawn chaser for trainer Robert Taylor (Warracknabeal) jumping well from the wide draw, mustering up and crossing the field on cornering and then dashing away, setting up a race winning lead to salute in 23:74sec.
Garry George (Beulah) produced two winners with Rapidly winning convincingly in 23:59sec, before Hyperspace saluted on Friday over the 485m journey again winning in convincing fashion, stopping the clock in 27:41sec, with kennel mate All Gold bringing up a kennel quinella.
Andrea Gurry (Nhill) found success with Zipping Diego and Paw Pavlov.
Zipping Diego produced a superb front running display holding on for victory in 23:52sec, Paw Pavlov worked through the field running down the early leaders producing a nice 23:39sec run.
Heather Baxter (Murtoa) produced two excellent front-running displays, with Rustic Dundee and Mepunga Milly winning consecutive races on Friday.
Both dogs flew the lids and put the races to bed by the time the greyhounds reached the first corner, winning in 23:56sec and 23:67sec respectively.
Friday concluded with both president Ian Bibby (Warracknabeal) and committee member Ian Robinson (Avoca) taking out the two late races on the card when Pyrenees Ace displayed his customary early speed to skip away and win easily in a best of the night 23:25sec, while Orson Fury came from the clouds, weaving his way through the field to take the lead deep in the shadows of the post to claim victory in 23:61sec.
