THE RUN HOME: Three for Gurry, singles all round
Two meetings were conducted over the past week at Horsham Greyhounds and training honuors went the way of Nhill resident Andrea Gurry training three winners over the pair of meetings.

Garry George (Beulah), Michael Callanan (Horsham), Nathan Jenner (Landsborough) and Heather Baxter (Murtoa) also led winners in.
It was Gurry who kicked the week off on the right note when kennel star Cortez Bale bounced form the boxes to lead clearly.
A dog of Cortez’s ability was never going to be run down, the black chaser cruising to an easy victory in 23:36 seconds.
Genesis Bale and Paw Hunter brought up a race day double on Saturday evening as both cruised to easy victories over the 410m journey, with new kennel star Genisis Bale winning by an ever-increasing six lengths in 23:36 seconds, with Paw Hunter stopping the clock in a best of the night 23:30 seconds.
Horsham local Michael Callanan continued his hot streak of form which has seen him lead in four winners over recent weeks.
On Saturday night it was Pagoda Growler that broke through for her maiden victory taking a rails run after finding early bother to produce a gutsy victory in 23:79 seconds.
Solar Tess for Nathan Jenner broke her maiden, coming from well back in the field to display a railing masterclass and hit the lead turning for home, then kicking away to win by just over a length in 23:79 seconds.
Garry George produced first starter, Hyperspace, over the 485m in a maiden final event, and she didn’t disappoint.
Away midfield, Hyperspace mustered up quickly to take control of the race down the back straight and turned for home a big leader.
She skipped away to win by six lengths in 27:77 seconds.
It was then an early-pace display for Guitar Tango for Heather Baxter.
Skipping away to a nice lead turning for home, Guitar Tango was challenged strongly and looked like he would be overrun but he kicked strongly and held on to win by a nose in 23:62 seconds.
