Three taken to hospital

There were no fatalities, but three people were transported to the Wimmera Base Hospital following a car and truck collision on O’brees Road intersection on Dimboola Road on Tuesday, July 8, at 3.45pm.

Horsham units of CFA and VICSES worked together to extricate the one trapped person from the car, while three others self-extricated after the incident.

Ambulance Victoria transported the patients via road to Horsham Public Hospital, with one in critical condition.

The incident was declared under control at 4.43pm and safe at 5.12pm at the Railway Crossing in front of the O'Connors in Dooen.

Victoria Police units are investigating the exact cause of the collision, and they have urged anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
