Tigers tame Lakers to remain undefeated
Pimpinio is full of confidence after recording its second straight win of the season on Saturday, defeating Taylors Lake by 40 points.

Playing in sweltering conditions, the Tigers had nine different goal scorers in the 16.15 (111) to 10.11 (71) victory.
Coach Guy Smith said the warm weather and intense midfield battle pushed his players for all four quarters.
“Most of our players were out on their feet by the end of the day,” he said.
“Unfortunately, I reckon we had a good 10 or 12 guys that were not well by the end of the game.
“To their credit, they pushed through and got the job done.”
The hosts established a strong lead in the first quarter, limiting the Lakers to just one goal in the opening quarter while kicking a trio at the other end.
A four-goal second term saw the Tigers take an 18-point lead into the main break.
Smith challenged his team to continue the domination into the second half.
“We've got the capabilities of being a really good side, so we just need to be desperate about what we do to get that realisation in our brain,” he said.
“They want to play good footy and be a successful side.”
Pimpino's goal of winning every quarter was realised with strong performances, kicking nine goals in the second half.
Matthew Rosier, Cullen Williams, Jason Westley, Oscar Hahn, Dylan Bates and former Swift ruckman Matthew Healy were named in the side’s best players.
“We've got a new look side,” Smith said.
“They're just really talented kids, and they're all desperate to prove a point.
“Our Dimboola trio of Tom and Connor O'Dwyer and Alex Jakiel were so underrated in the Wimmera League.
“We're so thankful that they decided to make the change because we knew what they would be capable of.
“The same goes for Cullen Williams from Horsham; he’s just a superstar.
“When you've got that inclusion of those six [recruits] in total, it just makes so much difference.”
