Treloar duo tops Horsham Fishing Competition

Brad Treloar dominated the Horsham Fishing Competition, winning first place in the Senior Longest Native Fish category with a 50cm Catfish.

His success ran in the family, as Sieanna Treloar secured the Junior Longest Native Fish title with a 48.5cm Catfish.

Chris Campbell and Shaun Brown followed closely behind Brad, each landing 49cm Catfish to claim second and third place.

In the junior division, Lyla Launer placed second with a 48cm Catfish, while Ruby Watson took third with a 47.5cm Catfish.

Shannon Francis dominated the Senior Longest Bag (Longest 5 Carp) category with a total length of 291cm.

Jesse Denton finished second with 280.5cm, and Chris Denton secured third with 276cm.

Justin Cardona took home first place in the Senior Longest Carp category by catching a 74cm Carp.

Martin Jonas followed with a 72cm Carp, and Jesse Denton rounded out the top three with a 67cm Carp.

In the Junior Longest Carp division, Zack Tink claimed victory with a 70cm Carp, while Jaxon Jeffery finished second with a 61cm Carp.

Anglers from across the region competed fiercely, delivering impressive catches throughout the event.

The community celebrated their achievements and awaited another exciting competition next year.
