Modifications have been made to the fold-down seats in the showers to allow doors to be opened while the seats are down.

Two new water connections have been installed to service the drive-through caravan park sites, with additional water connections planned in the coming months.

The push-down taps have been replaced with standard ones.

The dryer and washing machine are operational, and the toilet seats have been received and installed.

A powerhead damaged by a falling branch was replaced and the bridge light has been reconnected.

Four mirrors were installed with one in the accessible facilities, two in the women’s area and one in the men’s area.

The council is also considering constructing a permanent earthen levee on Council Committee of Management (caravan park) land.

The proposed levee would not cross privately owned land.

No costs and plans have been obtained and the concept is only in its infancy.
