Volunteers help clean up our image
Yarrilinks Landcare Network hosted a Clean Up Australia Day event on March 3.

A small group of volunteers involving community members, including Warracknabeal Souts and Cubs, met at the Creekside Hotel before heading north along the creek looping up to Rainbow Road bridge and back.
The team filled up four large bags with rubbish found in waterways and on land.
The strangest discoveries they came across were a single shoe and a fire extinguisher.
