The school is undergoing $11 million in upgrades and renovations, and the first week of the school holidays marked the beginning of Stage One's demolition process.

The administration building, including the front office and staff room, and the senior library and old art/computer room, VCE room and associated verandahs have been removed to make way for new facilities which will serve current and future students well in the years to come.

The sections of the original school buildings - now labelled Rooms 1, 2 and 3 - will be refurbished and incorporated into the new design with the new buildings’ facade complementing the heritage brickwork.

The school assembly hall demolition is part of Stage Two, which is currently scheduled to begin in April 2025.
