Warrack graced by country music favourite
Warracknabeal Town Hall was bustling with activity when Don Costa came to town to perform a variety of country tunes to a sold-out crowd of about 200 people on April 24.

The two-hour show had people up and dancing in every corner of the hall alongside seated feet tapping to the well-known music.
New business Alana M Music Promotions and Management brought the popular musician to play, owner Alana Morrow saying she was "overwhelmed" by the response he received from the community.
"It really has been amazing – I can't thank everyone enough for getting behind this and it was so rewarding to sit back and see everyone enjoying themselves," Ms Morrow said.
"Don Costa is also a well-known country music crowd favourite and he put on a top performance for everyone to enjoy.
"My hope was that this event would also bring people to town and get people out and about to support the local businesses."
The former Warracknabeal local co-ordinates regular country and rock 'n' roll music events in Horsham but this was her first in Warracknabeal.
"It was something that meant a lot to me to be able to do for the community where I grew up," Ms Morrow said.
"It made sense to bring my passion and love for music back home."
Since the performance, Ms Morrow said the feedback she had received had been "incredible".
"There's a lot of work that goes in behind the scenes to bring these events to life and hearing how much people enjoyed it and how many people have said they can't wait for the next event is so rewarding and makes the hard work all worthwhile," she said.
"All I hoped was that everyone would have a lovely morning out and get to enjoy a great entertainer and I think from all reports we achieved that.
"Bringing entertainment to Warracknabeal is something I would love to see continue on a regular basis if that's what the community wants, and they've indicated they do."
The next show is locked in for Tuesday May 20, with rock 'n' roll icon Issi Dye performing a 'Legends of Rock n Roll' show with hit songs from the '50s and '60s.
"Issi is a fantastic entertainer and really gets the crowd going so I'm looking forward to this one," Ms Morrow said.
