Warracknabeal Rotary welcomes Governor's visit
The Warracknabeal Rotary Club welcomed their District Governor to participate in the club’s community servicing Primary School breakfast club program.

The Warracknabeal Rotary Club welcomed their Distrct Governor to participate in the club’s community servicing Primary School breakfast club program on Tueday.
Rotary District 9780 District Governor Kathy Rivett visited the Warracknabeal Rotary Club this week and asked if she could assist in the weekly Breakfast Program.
She joined Tony Gregson, John Aitken and John Tonkin to serve toast on what the Primary students have affectionately dubbed “Toast Tuesday.”
As a Rotarian of twenty-two years standing, Kathy has a long history of Community involvement.
In founding the Alfredton Rotary Satellite Club in 2013, she pioneered the first Rotary club of its type in the world. She has participated in four overseas Rotary Projects.
The refurbishing of a school in American Samoa, running a business training course for Cook Islanders and being part of two teams offering medical and dental health days for kids in Bali. As well, she has been a counsellor for four overseas exchange students.
This overseas focus is no coincidence, as she is area sales manager for Trade Travel throughout Central and western Victoria and has held positions in the Federal Public Service and led travel tours overseas.
“It was great to have Kathy roll up her sleeves and appreciate a club project like this at ground level," Rotary Club of Warracknabeal President, John Tonkin, said.
"As well she visited our club sheep flock overseen by our Rotary Community Director Peter Martin.”
As District Governor, Kathy is in the process of visiting the fifty-four Rotary clubs in District 9780 with her partner David, accompanied by their dog Gauge.
