Water aerobics for all abilities continues in Donald

Another perfect morning for exercise in the water. The second session of water aerobics for all abilities in Donald was well attended, and instructor Meg Tonkin was thrilled with some extra participants.

Once again, some of the Donald Dolphin participants (Wendy Harvey, Helen Amos, Maree Cullen, Margo Painter and Michelle May) assisted, which was very much appreciated.

We appreciate the continued support from the Buloke Shire, which provided the lifeguards (Darcy O’Shea and Jesse Amos) on duty for the second session.

“Having the Buloke Shire Council on board to support inclusive sport and recreation makes these initiatives much easier to conduct and more affordable for those participating, which is very welcoming." Rhonda Allan of the Mallee Sports Assembly said.

As mentioned previously, this program is an initiative of the ‘Access for All Abilities’ program (funded by Sport and Recreation of Victoria), which focuses on inclusive sport and recreation for all levels of abilities.

Meg delivered another fun and energetic session, and the participants enjoyed the support from the Donald Dolphin women.
