Willenabrina welcomes new CWA president
Kirsty Keys is the new president of the Willenabrina branch of the Country Women's Association (CWA).

At their recent annual meeting, branch members elected Ms Keys as president and Gwen Coates as secretary.
Julia Hausler continued as treasurer.
On the day, a bloom competition was won by Judith Lynch ahead of Heather Atwell and Carol Clarke.
The secretary’s annual report showed that once again the branch had had a very busy and productive year.
Throughout 2024 competitions were held at each meeting.
Points were awarded and tallied at the end of the 12 months.
The overall prizewinners were Elaine Quick (first), Judith Lynch (second) and Heather Atwell (third).
The branch achieved first prize with its entry in the CWA section at the 2024 Warracknabeal Show.
A successful Christmas raffle has boosted the branch's funds.
Looking to 2025, Willenabrina will host the February conference of the Central Wimmera Mallee CWA Group.
Members have prepared a new syllabus for 2025 and look forward to another happy year of working together in enjoyable fellowship.
