Wimmera crowned Swimming Sports winner
Wimmera Lutheran College's Horsham campus, formally Holy Trinity Lutheran College, held its annual senior school swimming sports event last Friday, February 21, at Horsham Aquatic Centre.

Beginning with 'Fashions at the Pool', the costume parade allowed staff and students to strut their stuff and show off their well thought out costumes.
There were the competitive swim events which ran smoothly with many students participating across all year levels.
Synchronised swimming was a crowd favourite as each house performed their routine to music for about two minutes.
Students got creative and practiced in sessions leading up to the event.
"It was very challenging for the judges to determine the winner, and in the end was only separated by a couple of points across the board," Head of Sport 7 to 12 Matthew McLoughlin said.
Throughout the day, there were 10 records broken including Ellua Boyd who broke the record for the 15 girls freestyle set in 2018.
Previously it was 33.87 and is now 31.40.
Winning their fourth consecutive swimming carnival, Wimmera walked away with 791 points, dominating the competiton.
Lowan came in second with 561.5 points followed by Mallee with 530.5 points.
"It was great to see the students getting involved and participating in both competitive and novelty activities," Mr McLoughlin said.
"Thanks to all the staff and parent volunteers who made the event possible."
The school also held their Year four to six swimming carnival on Thursday, February 20, which was also won by Wimmera.
