Worthy, a senior footballer with the Demons, is no stranger to the Rebels' pathways program, having played under-16s and V/Line Cup for the club previously.

The Rebels travel to Melbourne to face the metro powerhouse in Oakleigh.

Talent lead Brooke Brown said the side was full of confidence following a win against the Sandringham Dragons on July 5.

“We have been tested over the last five weeks with Northern, Murray, Eastern, Sandringham and now Oakleigh,” Brown said.

“But the boys are up for a challenge. We look forward to what we can achieve on Sunday.”

The under-18 girls take on cross-country rivals Gippsland Power.

The GWV Rebels will debut another 16-year-old this weekend in Ivy Roberts (Ballarat).

Roberts was a part of the Rebels' 16s program this year and, in turn, was also selected for 16s Vic Country.

All games will be live on the Coates Talent League App.
